RADICAL Labour councillor Aaron Kiely has come to the defence of Hackney Labour MP Diane Abbott over the comments she made on Twitter.
Ms Abbott caused a storm of protest with her tweet that: (Responding to criticism of the term “black community leaders”) ‘White people love playing ‘divide & rule’ We should not play their game’.
Cllr Kiely entered into the debate with several comments on twitter including:
“It says it all that in the aftermath of conviction of Lawrence killers @HackneyAbbott is vilified for daring to discuss racism & colonialism.”
The twitter account @HackneyAbbott (which we believe is Ms Abbott) replied “You are so right @aaronkiely.”
Cllr Kiely also went on BBC RadioFivelive to comment on the controversy.
Speaking to YT, cllr Kiely said: “We should have all put this in perspective as this is the week that Stephen Lawrence’s killers were jailed and we are now meant to be discussing whether a black MP is racist or not!
“The whole framework is wrong and we should should be discussing how we implement MacPherson report and prevent racist murders.”
Ockendon councillor has hit the ground running in 2012, heading up to London to campaign against rail fares as well as meet and greet, legendary US black activist Rev. Jesse Jackson.

As I have said before racism will never stop in this country whilst we continue to have segregated groups like TRUST, The Black Police Association and other secular groups, all these organisations do is to segregate people of different backgrounds even further and fuel the racist lobbies.
Both Dianne Abbott & Aaron Keily are very outspoken members of the Labour Party and this is not the first or will it be the last that they cause controversy, it is time for biggoted people of all colours (if I can say that) to start integrating fully into society and stop playing the race card at every juncture
How can someone as naive and foolish as Mr Kiely become a councillor? he says
“We should have all put this in perspective as this is the week that Stephen Lawrence’s killers were jailed and we are now meant to be discussing whether a black MP is racist or not!”
but isn’t it the case that Diane Abbott herself has prompted this change of focus? Why is it right to hunt down and convict racist killers (And it IS right) but ignore a racist comment from an MP, an MP who is in the shadow cabinet at that? Is Mr Kiely one of those buffoons that think anti racist legislation only applies when aimed at white people? Abbot is herself foolish and naive, if she had any integrity she would resign her cabinet position. As for the comment about Kiely hitting the ground running, I would say he has slipped on all the banana skins. He is not fit to be a Cllr.
Dianne Abbott is a racist. Remember these comments. “Two white posh boys should never be allowed to be ministers”. “White Finnish nurses should be banned from working in London”. “Black people should not be allowed to be made redundant from public sector jobs” but it’s ok for white people. “Black mothers care more for their children than white mothers”. Are these all slips of the tongue. Her latest comments merely reflect what most black people really think about white people in this country. That is why they live in ghetto’s. That is why they don’t integrate. That is why they scream racist at the drop of a hat. All this is backed fully by the Labour party. Aaron Kiely happily supports a black racist and black racist attitudes while condemning all white people as divide and rule colonialists. He is a two faced marxist hypocrite. And as for his support for rail fare cuts, as we all know this was a Labour party policy so yet more hypocricy from a really offensive Labour liar. Let us not forget his support for all the black rioters in the summer. The people of Ockendon should vote now to have this offensive little prat removed immediately.
I am rather tired of the constant wining from black people regarding racist comments. Please get a life, what happened hundreds of years ago does not reflect how society treats black people now days, you have the same rights as I do. but I would like to have some rights on how I have been treated by the majority of black people in recent years. I have always treated people as I would like to be treated but to no avail. I have held doors open, smiled and stopped the car so they may cross but not one bit of aknowledgement has passed my way, oh apart from the teeth kissing and a sneer. As for Aaron kiely well this young lad will not do Labour any favours regarding his outlook on racism and his support for Dianne Abbott is not a surprise. Why residents of South Ockendon voted this silly boy in I will never know but then who am I.
Upthreads, I normally agree with most of what you say on this website but your above comment is completely incorrect. Dianne Abbott is a stupid woman who has made a number of comments regarding the relationship between black and white people in England. Bearing in mind she is London born and bread and ‘English’ whether she likes it or not she cannot seem to shake off the colonialism of yesteryear. Her views, like many who spout such rubbish is hardly the view of 600,000 odd black people in the UK. For most of history over the past 400 odd years black and white have mixed (albeit not that well for most of it) and in the past 60 years that black people have been living (and being born in England) we have seen no US style civil rights movements.
The problem with this country is regardless of whether we like it or not, there will always be people or groups who want to divide the population, normally left wing groups who see division as a way to claim power. There was a time when racism was an issue but in 2012 England which is packed with people from all over the place I don’t see how Dianne can still hold such views.
Caribbean people have integrated with white Brits (you only have to look at the number of mixed race people over the last 40 years) and with cultures so similar there’s no reason why this should not continue. Africans (of which Thurrock has a growing community) on the other hand are integrating at a slower pace and thats probably because they are more recent to this country and under Labour they were happy for people to live here and not integrate.
What worries me is that if it were a white politician who made such a crude comment they would have been sacked immediately yet Milliband seems to have not done that showing that Labour support the PC laws when it suits them.
Sorry Bernard 87 my comments are not totally incorrect. Dianne Abbott is not stupid and Dianne Abbott knows that a number of her comments, including her latest comments, are covered by the law regarding incitement of racial hatred. I am not wrong to say that, not just black but also other ethnic minorities, live in ghetto’s for a number of reasons but largely because of the differences in their culture to that of the British or English culture. Large numbers of these people view white British people with suspicion and whether you like it or not still see the English as the oppressors of black people. I’ve had this first hand as my business brings me into contact with black Africans and Afro Caribbean’s on a daily basis. If these people are so willing to integrate why do they have their own churches, nurseries among other things. London and other cities are prime examples of people not wishing to integrate and wishing to ghettoize areas. Mass immigration has done nothing to change this and has in fact made this worse. THe championing of black rights as opposed to the general rights of everyone is rife among the left wing and in my view is intentional so as to create situations whereby they can demonise institutions and organisations such as the met police to suit their own ends. This is why they scream racist at every chance they get when someone doesn’t agree with their view such as now. If Dianne Abbott wants to run around pointing the finger of racism at all white people, which she has done, then she should expect the same in return as should all black and other ethnic minorities who hold Dianne Abbott’s views.
You talk a lot of sense Upthreads.
The woman is stupid, while she goes around pointing the finger at ‘white people’ (as if you can chuck all white people into one group) and their colonial ancesters she completely misses out the bit about the Aricans selling their own people for munitions. People on the left only remember what they want to and when it suits them.
You are bang on with the mass immigration point. This is what has caused all this rubbish. In the 50s there were no race relations groups and for the greater part most people got on fine, fast forward 60 years with millions of different cultures, races, religions and a race relations industry and you have a Britain where no one wants to be British, many want to cling on to their homeland customs all supported by Labour. If anyone can be blamed for dividing and ruling it should be left wing politicians in my opinion.
While most black people seem to follow the Labour party blindly I would imagine not every black person supports this nonsense comment in the same way that all White Brits dont take on what the BNP say too seriously.
As for Cllr Kiely, if I were him I would distance myself from the left wing of the Labour party as it certainly will not help any of his residents in Ockendon.
How about cllr Keily interview the white British kids of South Ockendon and get the real perspective on the black culture that has invaded their space. It is these kids that have to deal with it every day. How about it Keily are you up to it?
