A GROUP of Stanford-le-Hope lads are undertaking a sponsored BMX ride to Southend to raise funds for a new concrete skate bowl in Hardie Park.
The big bike takes place on Saturday 3rd August.
They have have been working with designers to create a unique skate park facility. They have also planned the route and the event themselves and are hoping to raise £2000.
A spokesperson said: “I am really proud of their achievement so far and know that their determination will help Friends of Hardie Park raise the £100,000 total required.
