THE PRINCIPAL of Palmer’s College, Mark Vinall has issued a statement in response to the recent Ofsted inspection that saw the college fall from “Outstanding” to “Requires Improvement” in the spate of a few short years.
Teaching of science was even harder hit as that was placed into special measures.
Mr Vinall said:
“One of the reasons Palmer’s has always been a great College is that we embrace a culture of self – improvement and we are constantly looking for ways to excel.
We stated this in our rigorous self – assessment report and Ofsted agreed with us.
Our commitment to relentless improvement on behalf of our learners will continue and the feedback from Ofsted is a welcome contribution to this process.”
