FIRE CREWS used specialist cutting equipment to free a man trapped in his vehicle following a road traffic collision.
Crews arriving at the scene reported that the incident involved two vehicles and happened on the Orsett Cock roundabout by the exit to the A128 Brentwood Road.
After stabilising the vehicles and administering trauma care to the casualty, firefighters began rescue operations.
The casualty was released by 13:29 hrs and left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
