CHRISTMAS shopping needn’t be difficult this year, as intu Lakeside opens their doors for even longer this festive season.
From Monday 1st December, the Thurrock shopping centre is extending their opening times, giving shoppers more time to get a gift for everyone on their list. The centre is extending their weekday hours to 9am to 11pm, whilst opening 9am to 10pm on Saturdays. Shoppers are also welcome to delve into the sales on Boxing Day as they open from 9am to 9pm.
With lots of gifts to purchase, intu Lakeside are also offering a free Shop & Drop service from 28th November. Shoppers can simply drop their bags at the desk located by Next on Level 1 whilst they undertake more shopping. Bags can then be collected by car on their departure from the outside collection point. Shoppers that use the service from the launch weekend will also receive a complimentary shopping bag whilst stocks last.

By extending our opening hours plus our free Shop & Drop service, we hope all our customers can purchase their gifts with plenty of time to spare this year.”
For those who are difficult to buy gifts, the intu Gift Card is a perfect present. Those who purchase an intu Gift Card in November will receive a free Gourmet Society membership worth £69.95. The membership gives diners up to 50% off at over 6,500 restaurants including Café Rouge, La Tasca, Strada and Bella Italia at intu Lakeside.
New for 2014, customers can also personalise gift cards with their own photographs, through the online Flex-e-card service.
