DETECTIVES have appealed for help from the public to find a man wanted in connection with a firearms incident at Tilbury.
Police were called at about 1.20am on Sunday November 23 after a shotgun was fired outside an address in Wellington Road. The incident is believed to be connected to a domestic dispute. No one was injured.
Officers now want to speak to John West in connection with the incident. West is aged 30 and his last known address was in Tilbury.
He is 5ft 9in tall, of slim build and has short fair straight hair. He has the word ‘Fermal’ tattooed on the inside of his left arm and ‘Leanne’ tattooed on the inside of his right arm.
Officers have also appealed for witnesses or any information about the incident in the early hours of Sunday and also information about the whereabouts of the firearm.
West should not be approached and any sightings of him should be reported by dialling 999.
Any other information should be reported to Essex Police on 101.
