ARMED police arrested a sixteen-year-old boy after a series of incidents in Chafford Hundred on Wednesday night.
Police were called to Rainbow Road at 9.50pm after a driver of a car was stopped by a motorcyclist. It is alleged that the biker asked for change and then produced a weapon. The driver drove off.
A short time later, a male with a weapon amongst a group of men threatened a man in Felipe Road.
A number of police units including the armed police and Essex Police helicopter searched the area.
A 16-year-old from Grays was arrested and is currently being interviewed at Grays Police Station.
Enquiries are continuing.
