Ryman Div One North
Thurrock 3 v 0 Thamesmead Town
THURROCK enjoyed a comfortable Ryman One North victory at Ship Lane on Tuesday evening.
The hosts made a bright start and had a good shout for a penalty for handball waved away in the opening exchanges.
They continued to take the game to Thamesmead and were rewarded with an opening goal on 33 minutes from Brad Warner.
The lead was held going into the break and Fleet’s dominance continued on the resumption, with Ross Wall firing narrowly over.
They were eventually rewarded with a second goal on 67 minutes when Charlie Stimson turned and fired home from inside the box.
Warner then finished off the game with his second goal, a header from Sam Holloway’s cross on 72 minutes.
