A DOCTORS surgery in Drake Road, Chafford Hundred is set to be the measuring point for applications for the proposed second Harris Academy in Thurrock.
Full details of the application will be made in a number of open evenings over the next few weeks.
YT understands that the Harris Federation are still exploring a number of locations in the vicinity.
The school consultation document states that a number of students with educational statements and circumstances take priority.
After that: "We will then use the Abela Surgery, Drake Road on Chafford Hundred as the point from which we will measure distance and give priority to those who live closest to the Surgery.
"This means that the Free School will serve the whole of Chafford Hundred and the areas around it without giving those who live near one end priority".
