FIRE CREWS rescued a man after he was thrown from a vehicle in a road traffic collision near the Orsett Cock roundabout in Thurrock.
The incident happened at just after 6 am on Friday morning as the Grays fire engine was returning from the incident involving a fire on an oil tank they came across an RTC involving a car and a lorry.
One man had been thrown from the car and another man was trapped in the car.
Using two sets of cutting equipment crews had released the man by 07:05hrs.
They also gave first aid and oxygen therapy to the man thrown from the car.
Both were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
