Update: 1015 hrs
Police would like to thank motorists for their patience following delays on the Dartford River Crossing this morning. Officers had to close the bridge just after 8am today (Tuesday, September 30). This was after a man was taken ill at the wheel of a vehicle.
The M25 was closed between junction 31 and the bridge. The man has been taken to hospital and the motorway reopened at around 9.30am.

QE2 Bridge just re-opened clockwise after incident – solid from j29 A127.

Police would like to thank motorists for their patience following delays on the Dartford River Crossing this morning. Officers have had to close part of the bridge just after 8am today (Tuesday, September 30). This was after a man was taken ill at the wheel of a vehicle.
The M25 has been closed between junction 31 and the bridge. It is hoped some lanes will reopen shortly.
Incident: 0845 hrs
M25 closed and stationary traffic clockwise at A282, QE2 Bridge, because of a police incident.
Traffic is building.
