THURROCK rose to third in the league with another impressive win against Maldon and Tiptree on Tuesday night.
Goals in the first half by Charlie Stimson and an own goal secured the three points for Thurrock who are now looking very confident.
Thurrock are now seven points behind leaders Cray Wanderers but have three games in hand.
They return to action on Saturday away at Great Wakering Rovers.
