Wingate and Finchley 3 v 2 Grays Athletic
JUST A few weeks ago, Grays Athletic were riding high in the league. But with only one league win in seven they are heading south at quite a rapid pace.
Grays lost 3-2 to an ambitious Wingate and Finchley on Tuesday night.
Grays opened the scoring in the 16th minute through Bradley Fortnum-Tomlinson. But Wingate hit back one minutes later through Lee Barney. They went ahead in the 33rd minute through Rob Laney.
Flying winger Roman Michael-Percil levelled the scores in the 58th minute but it was Lee Barney again who ensured all three points went to Wingate.
The result sees Grays Ath lying in eleventh place.
They return to action on Saturday at home against Burgess Hill Town.
