ESSEX Police are investigating an alleged incident which was reported to officers on the afternoon of Saturday, November 7.
A man was allegedly assaulted in Queen Elizabeth Ave, East Tilbury, at around 2.30pm on Friday, November 6.
The man was walking along the street when four men, believed aged in their late teens and early 20s, shouted at him and threw stones at him. The victim, who lives locally, ran back home. He had suffered cuts and bruises.
Police are appealing for information following the incident. The men are described as white – one was of a stocky build and the other three were tall and of slim build.
