IT TOOK just 51 seconds for Thurrock boxer Jack Healy to win his latest fight.
The bout took place as part of a great night of boxing and martial arts promoted by the Essex Kickboxing Academy and held at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet.
Jack is not rushing his career instead he is taking it steadily and carefully.
But this was a tricky opponent: Manchurian Jamie O’Rourke is a former English IBA title challenger however he was no match for a swift and lethal Healy.
Jack described the win. He said: " I dropped with a right hand to the head just twenty seconds into the first round and then finished it with a left hook to the body 59 seconds into the first round.
"I am obviously delighted as all things seem to be going according to plan.
"I plan to have a few more fights at amateur level and then turn professional in 2016.
"I could not do things without my family and friends. I would also like to thank my sponsor BJA Civil Construction Limited"
