THEY still have places left for their free community-based car confidence and self-protection evening ‘Women in the Driving Seat. This event is open to everyone, including men and young learner drivers, is not a sales orientated evening, includes refreshments and is completely free of charge.
The evening is hosted by Tony LeVoi in Lakeside Retail Park, West Thurrock Way, West Thurrock, Grays, Essex RM20 3WE, at 6.30 for a 7pm start on Wednesday 11th March. You are most welcome to bring colleagues, a partner or friends with you.
The evening will include a seminar on safer driving, coping with road-side emergencies and how to deal with ‘road rage’ and aggressive driving behaviour in others. There is also a ‘weekend workshop’ module during the evening when visitors can learn how to carry out routine maintenance on their own car, including changing a wheel in safety using the jack and tools found in the boot. Lastly, there is practical role-play tuition on personal awareness & self protection by martial arts specialist Andy Williams.
Women in the Driving Seat is supported by the Institute of Advanced Motorists and the Foxy Lady Drivers Club, both of which will be attending. The whole event lasts approximately 2 hours and is scheduled to finish at around 9pm.
