THURROCK Council has supported a Conservative-led motion over illegal traveller encampments.
The motion was led by Thurrock Conservative leader, cllr Rob Gledhill and asked the council to look to follow Harlow Council’s lead after they were successful in obtaining an interim injunction over 35 named travellers from encamping on land in Harlow.
