CHAFFORD residents got together at the weekend to clean up the Rainbow Road area of the ward.
Armed with litter picker devices, high-vis jackets, and bin bags, the residents filled ten bin bags full of rubbish in just under an hour.
A Thurrock Council representative was on hand with sage health and safety advice.
A dozen residents took part and all agreed it was a worthwhile exercise that they would like to do again.
