BROOKE ROAD in Grays has been cordoned off by Essex Police after a man was found with serious head injuries.
At 3.15 am on Sunday June 14th, members of the public discovered a 39-year-old man lying on the ground in the street just off Orsett Road.
The emergency services attended at the scene.
The man was taken to hospital where, after assessment, his condition has been described as "not life threatening but life changing."
Essex Police has cordoned off the Brooke Road area while they conduct a forensic examination of the area.
