THERE has been, as we are sure your Nan once said, been a lot of weather this week and last night was no exception with spectacular lightning strikes across the borough and the county as a whole.
Although there were a number of buildings struck around the county, it look like Thurrock remained untouched but was host to a number of strikes and flashes.
But it kept a lot of the borough up last night as the electricity crackled across the borough from Aveley to Fobbing.
