THERE are concerns that a large traveller group may attempt to illegally encamp in Thurrock.
The group were evicted from the Havering area on Friday morning and were seen on the A13.
With the weather closing in, they may decide to encamp in the Thurrock area.
YT understands that the Essex Traveller Unit, Essex Police and Thurrock Council are monitoring the situation.
Their monitoring, like the reporting of such issues is always to ensure that legal encampments and the maintenance of public tranquility is protected as well as human rights, enshrined by law are observed.
