WHEN the Warley home of the Bradshaw’s Theatre school was burnt to the ground by arsonists last month, pupils and parents were devastated

The school lost clothing and equipment stored at the Eagle Hall in Warley when the fire started.

But now the school has found refuge in Thurrock. The High House Production Park will provide teaching and rehearsal space to the group from 12th September.

Laura Carter the schools principal said: “It has been a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions since the fire. Seeing the building that housed memories of preparation for competitions and west end showcase performances, destroyed was heart breaking.

"But we are very excited about moving to the High House Production Park and we are very happy about the association with the Royal Opera House. I hope that the move to Thurrock will see new members join our group.”

13 year old Olivia Shepherd is a member of the Bradshaws company and the pupil at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred. Olivia commented; “I was furious that someone could wilfully destroy our dance school and our equipment. But, I’m really excited to be going to the Royal Opera House in Purfleet – the facilities look awesome”

The dance company will be commencing rehearsals to compete at DANCE CAMP 6 in Disneyland Paris in March as soon as they settle into their new home.
