‘Do You Pass?’ is a free trading standards training course for local businesses that sell age-restricted products products such as alcohol, cigarettes and knives. The session is highly interactive and is delivered by an accredited trainer.
The course includes:
what the law requires of business and staff
proxy sales
an explanation of due diligence
Challenge 25 – proof of age, refusals and staff training
At the end of course there is a short test, with successful candidates being awarded the Do You Pass? Fair Trading Awards (FTA) certificate.
