HASSENBROOK Academy have appointed Christina Pumphrey as its new interim headteacher.
Ms Pumphrey wil be starting at the troubled Stanford-le-Hope school in September after she leave her present appointment at Thameside Academy in Grays.
Ms Pumphrey has earned a considerable reputation in education circles as there "go to trouble-shooter" and so her appointment tot a school that is in special measures is not only warmly welcomed but it is also her greatest challenge to date.
