THURROCK Swimming Club hosted the second round of the Junior Speedo League at Basildon Sporting Village.
This event saw members of the club aged 9 to 12 compete against Cambridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Dulwich, Romford, Kingston, Southend on Sea and Enfield. Thurrock Swimming Club finished first, beating Cambridge by 3 points, meaning that they are going to the final round in June with 2 wins and maximum points!
A massive well done to all of the participants:
Aged 9 – Aidan Wood, Ryan West, Ashton Clark, Rein Venkov, Daisy Mae Cutmore, Daisy Patterson, Eloise Bruce and Sophie Conroy.
Aged 10 – Ethan Paraiwa, Harrison Dessoy, Colin Moghina, Nikita Charykin, Ben Minster, Michaela Taiwo, Nonhlanhla Thole, Bryony Edgings and Caitlin Murray.
Aged 11 – Mide Olajide, Jimmy Taylor, Jenson Hurrell, Daniel Ajetummobi, Amelia Patterson, Teni Ogunlesi and Nonhlanhla Thole.
Aged 12 – Jack Conroy, Harrison Jarvis, Aaron Lambie, Tilly Mayes, Cate Diaz Anaya, Radost Milkova and Lillian Tagg.
