THURROCK ladies darts league held their annual prize-giving evening on Saturday and once again presented Little Havens Hospice with a cheque for £9,000 which now brings the total amount raised since the league began in 1964 to nearly £200,000.
Peter Hall, a fundraiser for Little Haven and whose young daughter tragically passed away a few years ago, applauded the ladies and said :
“Please come along to the Hospice and see what a difference your donations have made to these childrens’ lives. The Hospice cannot function without the help of people like yourselves and I for one thank you with all my heart for your continued efforts”.
