A PURFLEET man has been fined over £600 for throwing a cigarette packet out of a car window.
Matt Clark, aged 40, of Marine Court, Purfleet was found guilty of the following.
On or about 26/11/2015 at Basildon, threw down, dropped or otherwise deposited litter, namely a cigerette packet out of the driver’s window of a motor vehicle and left it in A127 Arterial Road (Southend bound) a place to which section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applied.
Clark was fined £611 at Basildon magistrates court.
