Often seen practicing throwing on the recreation ground, two Orsett girls won gold medals this weekend at the Essex Schools Athletics Championship held at Chelmsford.
Deborah Blamey from High Rd and Jenny Chapman from Rowley Rd both became Essex Junior Champions at Discus and Javelin respectively with throws that both reach the qualifying standards to represent their County at National level.
