YourThurrock was so so impressed with the level of competition at the Thurrock Schools Track and Fields.
What was good that each event had its full complement of competitors. Some athletes were better than others but they all did their bit and nobody gave up. Each athlete and each school should be warmly applauded.
Let’s make sure a high profile nation are using the track for 2012!! The campaign starts now.
In the meantime, we were impressed with the balance,rhythm and sheer ability of Hannah MacGowan-Jones who ran a sublime 1500 metres.
