ON THE eve of their first game of the season, Grays made another important signing as vastly experienced midfielder Paul Terry joined the Blues.
Terry, brother of England captain John has played over 300 games for Orient, Yeovil and Dagenham and will bring much needed authority to the Grays midfield.
Only two weeks ago, Grays were beaten 5-1 by Conf South outfit Bromley putting out a side that looked like it would struggle in the Ryman Premier.
Now with a new influx of signings the side has the shape, dare we say of it, of a side that might just challenge for a play-off place.
Grays also announced that Dean Morgan, once a target for Leeds United has also signed.
Left-back Michael Haswell has left.
