Jan Hodges, Principal and Chief Executive of South East Essex College, said: “Although these results only represent three courses that young people have signed up to since January, they are a fantastic start to showing how, after only eight months, we are making a real difference in the lives of young people and adults in Grays and Thurrock.
“The Thurrock Learning Campus is all about new beginnings and these results have put the students from these courses on the next step in their education with many of them choosing to continue onto the next level here in Grays. It is also the perfect beginning in the chapter of success for the Campus and students, their parents and their tutors can all be justifiably proud of what has been achieved in such a short period of time.”
The Thurrock Learning Campus also offers arrange of courses for Adult students and will also be offering a range of courses for learning and for leisure at evenings and weekends.
Enrolment for this year’s full-range of courses begins at The Thurrock Learning Campus, near Grays station, on Friday 28th August and Friday 4th September, 9am – 4pm, and on Tuesday 8th September, 10am – 7pm.
