The UKIP leader was on a whistle-stop tour primarily to support the by-elections in Billericay but Nigel Farage and many of the senior members of the UKIP team recognise the increasing popularity of UKIP in the south essex area.
The key challenge is to translate the Euro election vote and increase it in the local and national elections next year.
