Thurrock Council acknowledged its employees on Friday (25 September) who have been serving the borough for over 25 years.
In a special lunchtime ceremony, 32 individuals were thanked and awarded with a certificate and vouchers to recognise their hardwork and dedication.
Of those who attended 20 of these have been with the council for over 25 years, 10 over 30 years and two for over 40 years!
Maureen Pearce, the Mayor of Thurrock said: “It is a privilege for me to be able to present these awards. These people have shown great loyalty and commitment to both the Council and the residents of Thurrock.”
