An Essex man, who sexually abused his daughter for more than 30 years and fathered 2 children with her, has been jailed for 12 years.
The abuse started when the woman was just 7 years old and only ended when she moved out of the home she shared with her father when she was 40.
The 68 year old pleaded guilty to 18 charges, including rape, incest and indecent assault.
The court heard the man continued to harass his daughter even after she moved out, bombarding her with texts and turning up at her house.
The judge told the 68 year old: ‘you trapped your daughter in a grotesque fantasy world and had a repulsive and perverted power over her.’
The court heard the abuse has blighted the life of his daughter who has found it difficult to work or trust men.
She’s also had treatment for depression and sleep problems.
