A boy from South Ockendon has successfully been picked for a main role in the Nickelodeon channels “i-carly” programme.
George Sheldrick, 10, attends the TipToe Stage School in both Ockendon and Chadwell St. Mary, where he was spotted during a recent audition.
After a lengthy process, the producers were adamant that George was the ideal person for the role.
George takes many lessons at the school and his success comes as no surprise to the schools principal, Julie Barker.
She said: “George is a massively popular pupil in the school and applies himself to every class in a dedicated and professional way. He has the right attitude and talent to go far.”
