THE DAY of remembrance comes earlier this year, (Sunday November 8th). Stalwart of the Poppy appeals is Cllr Barrie Lawrence. They are looking for volunteers and hope that with the remembrance of war resonating with more young people due to Iraq and Afghanistan, they would be willing to help out.
