Firefighters spent several hours tackling a blaze after 600 tonnes of bailed hay caught fire.
The incident occurred just after 11am on sunday morning on Purfleet Road in Aveley.
By 4pm, the firecrews were still monitoring the fire and letting it burn out in a controlled fashion.
