CONSERVATIVE candidate for Basildon South and East Thurrock, Stephen Metcalfe explains why faith is important to him but also takes the opportunity to give a rallying call against the BNP presence in the borough.
Mr Metcalfe said: “The party has a duty to expose what they stand for and the veneer of respectability.
“What happened over the last few days will have disrupted the community.”
Mr Metcalfe pledged to support the community to boost spirit and cohesion.
