Church communities from across the borough were invited to unite and celebrate Thurrock’s Day of Prayer at Hassenbrook School in Stanford-le-Hope.
Throughout the day, guests were welcomed to participate within a variety of prayers held by special guests, Jonathan Oloyede and Godfrey Birtill. Alongside the celebrations were a number of information stalls all promoting the good work Thurrock’s church communities are creating and how they can work together.
Tim Harrold, Co-Facilitator of Transformation Thurrock, took the time to talk to YourThurrock about the successful event and what he hopes it will achieve for the future of Thurrock.
