“Andy and Mike’s Big Box of Bananas” – a title that lets you think of fun and silliness and that is exactly what you can expect of Michael James and Andy Day’s children’s show.
The show is about a big box that is sent to Andy and Mike. But the problem is, they can’t open it because they don’t have the password.
So the journey of finding “Password Paradise” begins.
Their journey leads them to a plane, a pirate’s ship and, at last, into a submarine.
In each place they have a dream that tells them the right password.
In the end they find the password and open the big box of bananas…
In my opinion, it was an absolutely funny and entertaining show.
Basically “Andy and Mike’s Big Box of Bananas” is a show made for children, however, it was highly enjoyable for the adults as well.
One of the things I was impressed with, is the fact that the two protagonists includes the audience a lot throughout the show.
They appointed a “Boss” of the audience – one of the children that had his arm up a lot. However, that wasn’t all. Even a “Pirate’s Captain” was named – also a little boy in the audience – who attacked the audience with a water pistol he was given by Andy and Mike.
The children were given a sentence that they had to say at a specific time as well.
These are only a few examples of how Andy and Mike included the audience in the show. I thought these ideas were brilliant.
So in the end I can say that this fantastic mix of comedy and acting by these particularly talented comedians, Andy Day and Michael James, is a brilliant and highly enjoyable children’s show with great ideas and funny contents.
The kids had a good time and that I know for sure, because you could hear it.
The way they shouted (better screamed), laughed and clapped their hands said everything! But isn’t it that what a good children’s show is about?
