A BOY is due to appear in court next week after having been charged with an offence in connection with an assault in Tilbury.
The attack happened in Tilbury when a 19-year-old man sustained serious head injuries while walking along Dock Road at 7pm on Friday, February 20. He was treated in hospital before being discharged.
A 17-year-old boy from the town was arrested on Feenan Highway on Friday, September 18 and has now been charged with one count of causing Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.
He has been released on police bail prior to his appearance at Basildon Magistrates Court on Friday, November 27.
