Ockendon councillor, Barry Johnson, was in charitable and festive mood on Sunday (6 December).
He joined dozens of others — all dressed as Father Christmas — at Little Haven’s Hospice in Thundersley, to take part in the five kilometre Santas on the Run event started by Paralympian Danny Crates..
“It was rather wet underfoot, but great fun and very well attended,” said Cllr Johnson who raised £450 for the hospice.
