A 28-year-old man from South Ockendon has been issued with a six-month conditional discharge after he admitted breaching an anti-social behaviour injunction.
Thurrock Council obtained the injunction in September in order to protect a vulnerable person in Thurrock from harassment
At Southend Court last Friday, the man was warned by the judge that any further breach would result in an immediate custodial sentence of up to two years.
Principal Officer, Community Protection David Northcott said: “This kind of action is taken to protect vulnerable members of our society and this result is a signal that together with Essex Police we will not tolerate this kind of breach. It is vital that every member of society can feel safe and protected by the authorities.”
