LAST week, we interviewed Chief Inspector Paul Moor, who expressed his satisfaction at the police operation to clamp down shoplifting over the christmas period.
This has been backed up by the number of shoplifters brought to justice in the courts at Grays.
Yesterday, two females pled guilty at Grays Youth Court to stealing jackets from Debenhams at Lakeside to the value of £270 on December 30th last year.
The females, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will be sentenced at Waltham Forest Youth Court next month.
