THE FANTASTIC work being done by the rehabilitation agencies in Thurrock has been well documented here but the next step is to empower the clients to start up their own groups. That is where DARE come in. Standing for Drug and Rehab Extensions, the group has taken a year to set up as a registered charity.
The aim is to help those who have left the rehabilitation service but still need some form of support, whether it is a day out or educational opportunities.
We spoke to Michael P about the organisation, how to join and how they aim to grow.
