BEING described as the “most under-rated Dr Who” is for Colin Baker something of a back handed compliment. Judging by the queue of fans waiting to have both Dr Who books signed plus a compendium of his column for the Bucks Free Press, he remains very popular.
Some of us go a bit further back than his eighties incarnation of Dr Who. Colin was fantastic as a real villain the BBC series in the early seventies called The Brothers.
Since then Colin has, like all good actors remained busy and has turned his hand to a number of pursuits including a regular “Angry of Purley” column in his local newspaper.
Before the hordes, we caught up with Colin to reflect on “Who’s” old and new.
