League 2 club Dagenham and Redbridge have signed Grays youingster Alex Osbourn who is just 16
According to the official Grays Web SiteAlex Osborn has just completed a three year deal with the Daggers. The deal includes monies on appearances and a sell on clause plus an option for Alex to start the season with Grays Athletic.
The club would like to thank John Still, Wayne Burnett and Alex Osborn because the player was out of contract but all parties wanted Grays Athletic on the deal. Alex was concerned and was assured we were fine with the deal. We wish him well and expect to see him in our starting line up

Alex played in a local team Ridgeway Rovers until joining the reserves in Sept 2009 and progressed within months. He made his big break for the Grays Team aged 16.
Grays fans were already comparing him with former blue Michael Kightly.
