LEE RICHARDSON RIDES FOR THE HAMMERS
Lee Richardson will make his season’s debut for the Hammers tonight at Ipswich despite leaving the British Semi Final at King’s Lynn last night by ambulance.
The England international suffered a foot injury in the crash and was fortunate not to suffer concussion in a crash which wrote off his crash helmet. With the Hammers unable to call upon a replacement as he has yet to ride in the redeclared team he was quick to assure the team’s Management that he would be able to take to the track for both the visit to Ipswich this eveningand big home match on Friday (14th May) against the current Elite League leaders, the Poole Pirates.
