A NEW service has been launched in some of Thurrock’s libraries.
A selection of advice and information books for parents are now available which cover all manner of parenting-related subjects, from providing an insight into effective social and interpersonal skills, to coping with learning difficulties and ADHD.
The books have been provided by PACTWin – the Parents and Children Together, Win project – which is run by the South West Essex NHS Specialist Children’s Service.
The selection of books can found in six of Thurrock’s libraries – Grays, Belhus, Chadwell, Chafford Hundred, Corringham and Stanford-le-Hope.
