THEY are coming up to their twentieth year and yet the pace of fundraising continues to gather apace. It is a credit to the team led by Marilyn D’Battista that in these difficult times, they have been able to raise their game while other organisations have struggled to keep pace with the demands.
St Luke’s have now teamed up with Morrisons as part of their fund-raising campaign. Even in a powercut at the Grays store, St Luke’s were still finding generous members of the public.
We spoke to Heather Penny about how the two organisations came together to help St Luke’s.
